What are Squirrels?

Squirrel Scouts are a brand new section following a pilot project in a number of different areas of the UK. The section is for young people usually aged between four and five years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family.

Easily recognised by their distinctive red sweatshirts, Squirrels enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week in a Squirrel Drey.
