Title Reivers Scout Active Support
Role SAS Member
Description

SAS Banner

The Reivers District SAS Unit is a skills based unit, supporting leaders to provide an active outdoor programme, it is led by Thom Lawson.

Scout Active Support is a way for adults to volunteer some time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them. For example if you are a keen climber, we can arrange authorisations and equipment; then you could help teach Scouts to climb even if it’s only twice a year. If you enjoy Mountain Biking, Kayaking, or have a skill or hobby, or even just a few hours spare, there are roles for everyone at a commitment that suits them. Volunteering for Scouting is easier than you think.

Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader

Anyone who has an interest that they would be willing to share with our young people, whether it be for an hour a month or a day per year, should get in touch.
